Ramzi Fares
CEO

Ramzi Fares is the founder and current Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of TDF. He is also Chairman and CEO of Profidev LLC, the project development and finance company which he founded in early 1997, and which designed the concept, and is currently the manager and a major shareholder of TDF. Prior to that he spent 15 years in various executive positions in the private sector. He was also 18 years with the World Bank in Washington, D.C., where he managed programs and projects in South Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North Africa. In 1995 he retired from the World Bank and joined, as SVP, Nomura Project Finance International (NPFI) in Hong Kong. In early 1996 he became Managing Director and EVP of AIMAC, the management company of a US$300 million infrastructure investment fund in Singapore, which he helped set up while with NPFI.
Ramzi Fares left AIMAC to found Profidev. He is a resident of Washington, DC (USA), the management headquarters of TDF. He has been a frequent speaker on infrastructure development and project finance at international conferences, and has written numerous articles on the subject.
Ramzi Fares studied at the American University of Beirut. He subsequently earned an MSc degree in economics from the Free University of Berlin, Germany, where he wrote his thesis on central banking.
Dr. Alexei Bykov
EVP

Alexei Bykov is a medical doctor, with neurosurgery as his specialty. He is currently Executive Vice President of TDF and a member of its Board of Directors. He was General Director of the Scientific Production Association - New Technologies - of Siberia (Russia) and Director of the Medical Center for Reconstructive Surgery (Russia).
He has over 15 years of international experience in project research and development and was an advisor for numerous projects in energy, telecommunications and new technologies in Russia. For 5 years he was also the appointed Representative of the Administration of the Altai Region in the Republic of Cyprus, the country where he currently resides with his family.
Dr. Bykov is the leader of TDF's Russia team, and the main interface between TDF and all aspects of its Russian operations.
Raymond Andary
VP-IP

Raymond Andary is a graduate in electromechanical engineering from the Technical University of Karlsruhe in Germany. He had a distinguished career with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, from which he retired in 1999 after 24 years of service. Prior to that he was 4 years with the European Patent Office, and 2 years a consulting engineer with Bechtel Inc., in the Hague/Netherlands.
During his tenure at WIPO Raymond Andary held many positions, among which: (i) Secretary of WIPO Executive Coordination Committee on Technical Cooperation among Patent Offices, worldwide; (ii) Secretary of WIPO Permanent Committee on Industrial Property Information; (iii) Director of the Division of Industrial Property Information for Developing Countries; (iv) Director-Advisor to the Director General of WIPO; as well as (v) Secretary of various WIPO Technical Committees. He was also the initiator and Senior Officer in charge of WIPO's program of the International Cooperation for the Search and Examination of Inventions (ICSEI).
Since his retirement from WIPO Raymond Andary has performed a number of intellectual property consultancy assignments on behalf of WIPO. He is also an advisor to a number of national organizations on intellectual property issues.
Raymond Andary is a citizen of Switzerland, where he currently resides.
