2nd National Conference on HIV/AIDS Therapy - Current Practices & Future Options

WBH TEC LLC, was a main sponsor of the "2nd National Conference on HIV/AIDS Therapy - Current Practices & Future Options" held in Mumbai/India on Jan. 10 and 11, 2009. The conference was organized by the Human Health & Research Foundation of India, and supported by Johns Hopkins Medicine - Center for Global Clinical Health Education (Baltimore/MD), Brown Alpert Medical School (Providence/RI), the University of Kwazulu-Natal (South Africa), as well as by national organizations dealing with HIV/AIDS. It was attended by about 500 HIV/AIDS Indian clinicians and a number of international HIV/AIDS researchers.

At the conference Dr. Milton B. Yatvin, the company's Senior Scientific Advisor, presented the latest results of the clinical trial of the effect of HL-WBH, the company's whole body hyperthermia treatment technology, on 30 naïve HIV patients, all of whom experienced a sustained dramatic drop in their viral loads and a substantial increase in their CD4 counts, well beyond 9 months. The trial is still ongoing.
